Making Tomorrow’s Theatre, our third and final SAILMAKERS project is for producers. We’re asking, ‘how do we make theatre for, and with, everyone, in the same place and at the same time?’

We believe good theatre can reach everyone at the same time and that different ‘kinds’ of people don’t always want different ‘kinds’ of theatre. We know good drama can be made creatively accessible to everyone. We want more theatre to be made for general audiences with cast members with learning disabilities and we will explore how best to do that with producers from across the UK.

PRODUCER’S ONLINE SYMPOSIUM

26th MARCH 2025

Join us online from the Level Centre where we’re joined by our Guest Producer partners Lawrence Batley Theatre, Salisbury Playhouse and Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch. We’ll explore general audience theatre featuring learning disabled and neurodivergent actors, asking how do we market and how do we engage audiences for integrated theatre? A high-profile panel (tbc) will share learnings and take questions online at 1.30PM on Wednesday 26th March. For your free ticket click here.
